Foster and Kinship Care

The Foster and Kinship Care team aims to provide flexible, integrated responses to meet the needs of families, children and young people affected by the Child Protection System.  We provide children and young people unable to live with their families with a safe, caring and nurturing environment in the homes of approved foster carers while ensuring that they maintain their sense of belonging and connectedness to their families.

We encourage opportunities and experiences that make for a sustainable family life that is safe and fulfilled, where physical and emotional needs are nurtured, where all areas of potential are allowed to grow fully and that is surrounded by communities of care who welcome everyone’s participation.
