Kyabra Early Years Place

Child Care aims to support families in the southern suburbs of Brisbane with the provision of high quality child care.

The centre is open from Monday to Friday, usually 40 weeks per year, similar to the state school terms.

We maintain a non-discriminatory access policy to our centre.  We believe all people deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of age, race, class, gender, sexual orientation or past behaviour.

Whilst acknowledging that parents are a child’s first educator, it is helpful as part of your child’s preparation for school attendance, for them to experience time away from you in an early education service setting. Equally children who attend our centre may not be ready for or may not need to attend a full day program similar to those offered in long day care. Children who attend will be provided with a social opportunity outside the home and the opportunity to gain further confidence with literacy, numeracy, social and motor skills that have already been established through your teaching and from their observing and learning from the world around them.

You are invited to visit the Centre and have a look around, please call 3373-9499 to arrange a time.

We are currently in the process of becoming eligible to apply Child Care Subsidy to our fees.
